Value Meets ComfortI recently spent a stay at City Heart Rooms, and as a countryside enthusiast and hotel reviewer, I approached it with my usual expectations. Located just a 15-minute walk from the city center, the hotel's location lets you easily explore Porto-though the surrounding area might be off-putting at first. The room was reasonably spacious, offering basic comforts like heating and Wi-Fi, which worked seamlessly. The furnishings, however, felt a bit dated, and I encountered an issue with cleanliness that required me to take matters into my own hands the next morning. Not the greatest start, as I had to make a trip to the pharmacy after some unpleasant bites; I suspect there might have been bedbugs. That said, for the price, it's essential to manage your expectations. The shared kitchen was handy for budget travelers like me. All in all, if you're looking for value over luxury and have a budget in mind, City Heart Rooms might fit the bill-but perhaps double-check your linens upon arrival.
